History

Squash dates back with to the early nineteenth century, when bored prisoners in London “The Fleet” prison began to bounce a tennis ball from the walls in the cell. Then in unclear circumstances this play  moved to one of the elite schools in the UK. There the ingenious students had the idea to perforate balls for a greater satisfaction from the game. That resulted in a large deformation of the ball in contact with the walls. The squashing of balls gave the name to the game SQUASH , which is the official sport since 1864. Currently, the squash is played throughout the world. In 1997, visited Poland and since then it is growing rapidly – till now mainly on amateur basis.
