European Junior Open Platinum 2024

On the behalf of the European Squash Federation and Polish Squash Association we are proud to invite you to participate in the European Junior Open 2024 being the part of ESF Juniors Circuit Tournament.  The event will be held in the Sports Center Hasta la Vista in Wrocław from 27 June 2024 to 01 July 2024

• Players may only enter one category.
• Check-in: All players should check-in at least half an hour before their first match. Check in is mandatory.

• The prize money for U19 category will be handed over exclusively after the award ceremony and personally to the winner.
• Medal ceremonies will be held individually for each category, right after the match for 3rd place.
• Alongside the BU19 medal ceremony (July 1, 2024), there will be an official photo session for all medalists at the glass court. We encourage all medalists to be present for the official photoshoot.
• A group photo for all players will be taken on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
• Plan your departure accordingly.
• All official photos from the tournament will be published on Facebook Hasta la Vista within 3 days after the tournament ends.

Each player is supposed to register and collect ID and welcome pack / t-shirt before first match.
Only the appropriate ID entitles to use the services that are compatible with package such as transport or meal.

Tournament office opening hours may be adjusted to the needs of the particular day.

Meals will be available to buy in the facility during the tournament. Payments will be accepted in cash and card (PLN/EUR)
Players and supporters with pre-paid packages will receive their meals after showing the tournament ID card (received in registration).

ENTRIES:
All entries must be made online and endorsed by the players National Association: ONLINE ENTRIES HERE

• Players may only enter one category.
• Players can register for ESID with ESF through the ESF tournament software website.
• All entries must be made through / endorsed by the relevant national federation. Any entry not endorsed by a player’s national federation will not be accepted. All entries will be acknowledged and published on the tournament website www.hastalavista.pl and HERE

CATEGORIES:
Boys & Girls u19, u17, u15, u13.
Maximum draw size: 128
The TD reserves the right to amalgamate age groups if there are insufficient entries to make a workable draw.
Players are only allowed to enter one category.

Juniors from Russia or Belarus: Along with the recommendations issued by the International Olympic Committee and the IOC Summit statement held on the 5th of December 2023, the World Squash Federation and PSA have decided to allow the participation of players from Russia and Belarus and their support personnel in International squash competitions.This participation is subject to the respect of strict and stringent conditions that are detailed in the Declaration Form that all athletes need to complete before entering any competition. To obtain neutral athlete status, the player must apply to the World Squash Federation.

A player can only be recognized as an Authorized Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) if they are approved, recognized, and registered by World Squash as such.

ELIGIBILITY:
Any player shall be entitled to enter providing that he/she is under the age of 13/15/17/19/ (according to the category entered on the closing date of the tournament). As specified by the European Squash Federation; to compete in all ESF registered events, all players, coaches, managers and other officials must be registered with ESF. This must be approved and validated by the relevant MNF.
Players may only enter one category.

EUROPEAN SQUASH ID (ESID):
The MNF is responsible for ensuring that all players, coaches, managers and other officials are registered with ESF prior to entry, and their entry is fully supported.
Players can register for ESID with ESF through the ESF tournament software website.

Have you previously played a ESF event? Then your ESID should already exist. Please, check your ESID by clicking that link and choosing ‚player’ in the drop down menu, number starts with letters ‚ES’.

OBLIGATORY FEE:
Entry fee (players): 70 EUR (entry fee + levy fee)

OPTIONAL PACKAGES:

Hotel and Food package: (players): 490 EUR (entry fee ; 4 nights’ accommodation in twin room ; lunches (4) & dinners (4) at each day of the event ;  breakfasts (4) at the hotel ; transportation from and to the nearest airport or train station ; shuttle between hotel and the venue ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Accompayning package  (for non-players): 420 EUR (4 nights’ accommodation in twin room ; lunches (4) & dinners (4) at each day of the event ;  breakfasts (4) at the hotel ; transportation from and to the nearest airport or train station ; shuttle between hotel and the venue ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Extra night:
a) in twin room 70 EUR per person per night
b) in single room 105 EUR per person per night

Single room supplement: + 35 EUR per person per night

Food package (player): 190 EUR (entry fee ; lunches (4) & dinners (4) at each day of the event ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Food package (for non-players): 120 EUR (lunches (4) & dinners (4) at each day of the event ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Extra event t-shirt:
There is possibility to purchase an extra T-shirts for 29 EUR.

HOTEL:
Accommodation will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food or Accompanying packages.
The number of hotel packages is limited.
The organizer will provide accommodation in several hotels of similar standard (3-4 stars) and reserves the right to allocate participants to specific hotels independently.
Accommodations for group arrivals will, as far as possible, be provided in the same hotel.
Accommodation details are determined individually via email with each group/person.
The organizer reserves the right to add another accommodation facility as needed.

TRANSPORT:
Transport will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food or Accompanying packages.
The arrival/departure point must be Wroclaw Airport or Wroclaw main train station.
On all playing days, there will be a regular bus transfer service between the official hotels and the venue.
The time schedule will be published closer to the event.

*In the event of a small number of standard and accompanying packages, the organizer reserves the right to replace the shuttle bus with taxis paid for by Hasta la Vista

CATERING:
Meals will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food / Food / Accompanying packages.
Players and supporters with pre-paid packages will receive their meals after presenting the tournament ID card received during registration.

Meals will also be available for purchase on-site during the tournament.
Payments will be accepted in cash and by card (PLN/EUR).
Catering opening hours will be published closer to the event.

EVENT T-SHIRT:
An event T-shirt will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food / Food / Accompanying packages.

• PLEASE NOTE:
• Hotel & Food packages can ONLY be reserved via email: ejo@hastalavista.pl.
• Selecting a hotel package implies the necessity of payment within 2 days of purchase.
• Failure to make payment on time will result in the cancellation of the package.
• Cancellation of  hotel reservations after closing of entries: reimbursement at the discretion of the Hotel.
• Anyone who only pays the Entry Fee will need to organize their own accommodation, transportation, and catering.

The fees and packages must be paid to the host by bank transfer net of bank charges, by the entry closing date.
Entries not paid on time will NOT be accepted for the Tournament.

• Withdrawal up to 14 days before the start date of a tournament: fees reimbursed in full (less bank charges).
• Withdrawal 3-14 days before the start date of a tournament: 50% of fees reimbursed (less bank charges)
• Withdrawal 2 days or less before the start date of a tournament: reimbursement at the discretion of the tournament organiser

In case of withdrawal, fees will be reimbursed according to ESF Junior Circuit Guidelines , section E.
