European Junior Open Grand Prix Event

On the behalf of the European Squash Federation and Polish Squash Association we are proud to invite you to participate in the PJO 2022 being the part of European Junior Circuit. Polish Junior Open (Grand Prix) 2022 will be held in the Sports Center Hasta la Vista in Wrocław from 11th-13th November 2022.

CATEGORIES
Boys & Girls u19, u17, u15, u13, u11 – maximum 64 players in each category. The TD reserves the right to amalgamate age groups if there are insufficient entries to make a workable draw. Players are only allowed to enter one category
Any player shall be entitled to enter providing that he/she is under the age of 11/13/15/17/19/ (according to the category entered on the closing date of the tournament. As specified by the European Squash Federation; to compete in all ESF registered events, all players, coaches, managers and other officials must be registered with ESF. This must be approved and validated by the relevant MNF.
Players from U11 may choose to play in two categories ( U11+U13).
Players from U13,U15, U17, U19 may only enter one category.
The ESF has excluded juniors from Russia or Belarus to enter the event.
All categories will be recognised for ranking purposes of the Polish Squash Association classified as a A grade tournament.
Players need to have valid Polish Squash Association license to recive points in A grade tournament.
Players from outside of Poland, who doesn’t have Polish Squash Association license may recive it by giving their home city while registration or by filling up this form HERE ( after filling in the form it need to be send back at biuro@polskisquash.pl in exel file )
Players who do not obtain this license by the seeding date, will not recive A grade tournament points.
U11 categories are also played under ESF regulations.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
All categories will start their matches on Friday and end on Sunday.
Matches on Friday 11.11.2022 will start at 10:00
End of the tournament is planned for 13.11.2022 at 16:00
On Saturday 12.11.2022 at 2:45pm there here will be group photo time at glass court.
Detailed schedule for matches will be available this week.
MEDAL CEREMONY
Medal ceremony for each category will take place right after the end of the last match in given age category.
SEEDING
Seeding will be done according to the ESF Guidelines. These can be found on the ESF website https://www.europeansquash.com/page/32230/Guidelines
REFEREEING
All players will be expected to mark and referee matches.
PRIZES
There will be prize money in the U19 categories and trophies in all other categories.

TRANSPORT:
Transport according to the entry form will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food or Accompanying package. Arrival/departure point must be Wroclaw Airport or Wroclaw main train station. On all playing days there will be a regular bus transfer service between the official hotels and the venue. Time schedule will be published before the tournament starts*.
Anybody who pays only Entry Fee will need to organise their own transport.
*In the case of a small number of standard and accompanying packages, the organiser reserves the right to change the shuttle bus to the taxi paid by Hasta la Vista.
CATERING
Meals will be available to buy in the facility douring the tournament. Payments will be accepted in cash and card ( PLN/EUR )
Players and supporters with pre-paid packages will receive their meal after showing the tournament ID card ( received in registration )

ENTRIES
All players must register online at ESF – Polish Junior Open GP 2022.
All entries must be made through / endorsed by the relevant national federation. Any entry not endorsed by a player’s national federation will not be accepted. All entries will be acknowledged and published on the tournament website www.hastalavista.pl and HERE
EUROPEAN SQUASH ID (ESID)
The MNF is responsible for ensuring that all players, coaches, managers and other officials are registered with ESF prior to entry, and their entry is fully supported.

Have you previously played a ESF event? Then your ESID should already exist. Please, check your ESID by clicking that link and choosing ‚player’ in the drop down menu http://esf.tournamentsoftware.com/ ESID number starts with letters ‚ES’.
CLOTHING:
Players must wear suitable squash attire including non-marking shoes.
EYE PROTECTION:
It is mandatory for approved eye protection to be worn at all times during competition play, including the knock up at this event. Players will not be allowed to compete without approved eye protection.

INSURANCE:
Players enter and play in the tournament at their own risk. Neither the organisers nor the ESF will accept responsibility for any claims including for injury or accident. Suitable insurance must be organised by the player or the participating federation.

The fees and packages, as detailed below, along with the ranking levy of €5 (included) per player must be paid to the host by bank transfer net of bank charges, by the entry closing date.

a) in twin room 45 EUR/220 PLN per person per night
b) in single room 70 EUR/340 PLN per person per night
Single room supplement: + 25 EUR/120 PLN per person per night
Accompayning ( for non-players ) : 235 EUR/1145 PLN (2 nights’ accommodation in twin room, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, transportation from and to the nearest airport or train station, shuttle beween hotel and the venue)
5. Roll-away bed fee: +13 EUR/60 PLN per room per night (hotel does not offer triple rooms, there is a limited number of extra beds that can be booked into the twin rooms)
In case of withdrawal, fees will be reimbursed according to ESF Junior Circuit Guidelines , section E.
Withdrawal up to 14 days before the start date of a tournament: fees reimbursed in full (less bank charges).
Withdrawal 3-14 days before the start date of a tournament: 50% of fees reimbursed (less bank charges)
Withdrawal 2 days or less before the start date of a tournament: reimbursement at the discretion of the tournament organiser
However, expenses already incurred in connection with hotel bookings etc. will not be refunded.

WSF
The Polish Junior Open 2022 is registered with WSF for World Ranking status for girls and boys u19.

Wszystkie kategorie rozpoczną swoje mecze w piątek i zakończą w niedzielę.
Mecze w piątek 11.11.2022 rozpoczną się o 10:00
Koniec turnieju planowany jest na 13.11.2022 o godzinie 16:00
W sobotę 12.11.2022 o godzinie 14:45 odbędzie się sesja zdjęciowa grupowa na szklanym korcie.

Maksymalnie 64 zawodników w każdej kategorii. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do łączenia grup wiekowych, jeśli nie ma wystarczającej liczby zgłoszeń, aby dokonać poprawnego losowania.
Każdy zawodnik ma prawo do udziału pod warunkiem, że jest w wieku poniżej 11/13/15/17/19/ lat zgodnie z kategorią zgłoszoną w dniu turnieju.
Zawodnicy U13, U15, U17, U19 mogą wziąć udział tylko w jednej kategorii.
Zawodnicy U11 mogą rozegrać mecze w kategoriach U11 + U13.
ESF wykluczył z udziału w turnieju juniorów z Rosji lub Białorusi. Zgłoszenia tych zawodników nie będą przyjmowane.
MECZE I PUNKTACJA
Wszystkie mecze zostaną rozegrane zgodnie z zasadami i regulacjami ESF ( również U11)
SĘDZIOWANIE
Od wszystkich graczy oczekuje się sędziowania meczów.
NAGRODY
Nagrody pieniężne przewidziane są tylko w kategoriach U19. Wśród zwycięzców wszystkich kategorii rozdane zostaną puchary.

Wszyscy uczestnicy turnieju obowiązkowo muszą posiadać aktywną licencję Europejskiej Federacji Squasha

PZSQ TURNIEJ A:
Wszystkie kategorie będą uznawane dla celów rankingowych Polskiego Związku Squasha klasyfikowanego jako turniej klasy A.
Zawodnicy muszą posiadać ważną licencję Polskiego Związku Squasha, aby zdobywać punkty w turnieju klasy A.
Zawodnicy spoza Polski, którzy nie posiadają licencji Polskiego Związku Squasha mogą ją otrzymać podając swoje miasto podczas rejestracji lub wypełniając formularz TUTAJ (po wypełnieniu formularza należy go odesłać w formie pliku exel na biuro@polskisquash.pl)
Gracze, którzy nie uzyskają tej licencji do dnia rozstawienia, nie otrzymają punktów turniejowych klasy A.

Rezygnacja do 14 dni przed datą rozpoczęcia turnieju: zwrot całej płatności pomniejszony o koszty opłat bankowych .
Rezygnacja 3-14 dni przed datą rozpoczęcia turnieju: zwrot 50% opłat (pomniejszony o opłaty bankowe)
Wycofanie się na 2 dni lub mniej przed datą rozpoczęcia turnieju: zwrot kosztów według uznania organizatora turnieju
UWAGA wydatki już poniesione w związku z rezerwacjami hotelowymi nie zostaną zwrócone.

CATERING
Posiłki będzie można kupić w obiekcie podczas trwania turnieju. Płatności będą przyjmowane gotówką i kartą ( PLN/EUR )
Gracze i kibice z przedpłaconymi pakietami otrzymają posiłek po okazaniu ID turniejowego (otrzymanej przy rejestracji)
