On the behalf of the European Squash Federation and Polish Squash Association we are proud to invite you to participate in the Polish Junior Open 2024 powered by BETARD being the part of ESF Juniors Circuit Tournament.

Categories: Boys & Girls u19, u17, u15, u13, U11
Under 11 categories are not recognised for ranking purposes by the ESF. The TD reserves the right to amalgamate age groups if there are insufficient entries to make a workable draw.
Players may only enter one category.
Check-in: All players should check-in at least half an hour before their first match. Check in is mandatory.

Closing date for Hotel Packages: the sale of hotel packages depends on the number of available rooms, and the organizer does not guarantee room availability until the end of the official entries.

Offcial group photo: 9.11.2024, at 2:00 PM.
Official medalists photo: after each medal ceremony held just after the match for 3rd place.

*NOTE: if the draw is smaller than 65, the event planned for 3,5-4 days, will be shortened to 3 days and start on Friday, 08.11.2024 around 10:00.

PSA Ranking Points U17&U19

Ranking points from WSF & PSA Satellite Tour tournaments are only awarded if a player claims them. This must be done via the PSA Secure Site within the same month in which the tournament ended or by the 7th of the next month if the tournament ended on the last week of the month. No late requests are accepted.

Entry fee and packages:

OBLIGATORY FEE:
Entry fee (players): 70 EUR/300 PLN (entry fee + levy fee)

OPTIONAL PACKAGES:

Hotel and Food package: (players): 399 EUR / 1715 PLN (entry fee ; 3 nights’ accommodation in twin room ; lunches (4) & dinners (3) at each day of the event ; breakfasts (3) at the hotel ; transportation from and to the nearest airport or train station ; shuttle between hotel and the venue ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Accompayning package (for non-players): 329 EUR / 1415 PLN (3 nights’ accommodation in twin room ; lunches (4) & dinners (3) at each day of the event ; breakfasts (3) at the hotel ; transportation from and to the nearest airport or train station ; shuttle between hotel and the venue ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Extra night:
a) in twin room 45 EUR/ 193 PLN per person per night
b) in single room 75 EUR / 322 PLN per person per night

Single room supplement: + 30 EUR / 129 PLN per person per night

Food package (player): 179 EUR / 770 PLN (entry fee ; lunches (4) & dinners (3) at each day of the event ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Food package (for non-players): 109 EUR / 470 PLN (lunches (4) & dinners (3) at each day of the event ; water and isotonic drinks ; event t-shirt)

Extra event t-shirt:
There is possibility to purchase an extra T-shirts for 29 EUR / 125 PLN

Optional packages:

HOTEL:
Accommodation will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food or Accompanying packages.
The number of hotel packages is limited.
Accommodation details are determined individually via email with each group/person.
The organizer reserves the right to add another accommodation facility as needed.

TRANSPORT:
Transport will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food or Accompanying packages.
The arrival/departure point must be Wroclaw Airport or Wroclaw main train station.
On all playing days, there will be a regular bus transfer service between the official hotel/-s and the venue.
The time schedule will be published closer to the event.

*In the event of a small number of standard and accompanying packages, the organizer reserves the right to replace the shuttle bus with taxis paid for by Hasta la Vista

CATERING:
Meals will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food / Food / Accompanying packages.
Players and supporters with pre-paid packages will receive their meals after presenting the tournament ID card received during registration.

Meals will also be available for purchase on-site during the tournament.
Payments will be accepted in cash and by card (PLN/EUR).
Catering opening hours will be published closer to the event.

EVENT T-SHIRT:
An event T-shirt will be provided for all purchased Hotel & Food / Food / Accompanying packages.
There is possibility to purchase an extra T-shirts for 29 EUR.

Selecting a hotel package implies the necessity of payment within 2 days of purchase.
Failure to make payment on time will result in the cancellation of the package.
Cancellation of hotel reservations after the reservation has been confirmed by the organizer is solely at the discretion of the hotel/-s. Expenses already incurred in connection with hotel bookings etc. will not be refunded.
Anyone who only pays the Entry Fee will need to organize their own accommodation, transportation, and catering.

Registration / Welcome packs / T-shirts

Each player is supposed to register and collect ID and welcome pack / t-shirt (if purchased) before first match.
Only the appropriate ID entitles to use the services that are compatible with package such as transport or meal.

The registration point will be open on November 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2024. Registration opening hours will be published closer to the event.

Catering

Meals will be available to buy in the facility during the tournament. Payments will be accepted in cash and card (PLN/EUR)
Players and supporters with pre-paid packages will receive their meals after showing the tournament ID card (received in registration).

Hasta la Vista reserves the right to choose the T-shirt size itself, for those who didn’t provide clear shirt size during registration.

Payment:

The fees and packages must be paid to the host by bank transfer net of bank charges, by the entry closing date.
Entries not paid on time will NOT be accepted for the Tournament.

Practice courts:

7th November

08:00 – 16:00 – Players can use all available courts for practice at no charge. Courts can be pre-booked via pjo@hastalavista.pl or at the reception desk upon arrival at Hasta La Vista.

If the event is shortened to 3 days and starts on Friday (8th November), practice time on Thursday (7th November) will be extended into the evening hours.

8-10 November

On these days, all event courts* will be available for practice starting 1 hour before the matches begin (e.g., if matches start at 09:00, courts will be available from 08:00).

During the event days, players can use all available courts for practice at no charge, but courts cannot be pre-booked. Access to the glass court is managed by TD Tomas Hraszky: email: thrazsky@gmail.com, WhatsApp: +48 698 437 762.

*Event courts = courts used on a particular day for event matches.

Extra access to the courts requires payment according to the standard prices: Hasta La Vista Pricing. If you are interested in an individual reservation requiring payment, you can book the court in advance via pjo@hastalavista.pl or at the reception desk upon arrival at Hasta La Vista.

Cancellations of entries:

Withdrawal up to 14 days before the start date of a tournament: fees reimbursed in full (less bank charges).
Withdrawal 3-14 days before the start date of a tournament: 50% of fees reimbursed (less bank charges)
Withdrawal 2 days or less before the start date of a tournament: reimbursement at the discretion of the tournament organiser

In case of withdrawal, fees will be reimbursed according to ESF Junior Circuit Guidelines , section E.

Camcellations of hotel packages:

Cancellation of hotel reservations after the reservation has been confirmed by the organizer is solely at the discretion of the hotel. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Expenses already incurred in connection with hotel bookings etc. will not be refunded.

Failure to make payment on time will result in the cancellation of the package.

Visa application

If players need to apply for a visa, they can apply for a confirmation letter from the Polish Squash Association.

Players can acquire a confirmation letter upon request.

Please take the following guidelines into account when visas are needed:

Before applying for a letter a player must register for entry of the Polish Junior Open 2024.

Before a letter is sent, a payment must have been received.

Before a letter is sent, the organization must receive the following necessary information:

Receiving a letter from the Polish Junior Open can take up to 5 working days after the registration, payment, and necessary information have been received.

Obtaining the visa is the responsibility of the players. If the visa gets denied after the entry deadline, players will only be able to get a refund according to the rules for cancellations as written above.
